Hi Everyone, how are you all? Well what a weird and challenging start to the year we have had!

Business was paused for a while but as restrictions have started to relax and lift a little I thought I would let you know what this means for me, my cakes and my lovely customers!

From the 1st June I was able to reopen my business, so I am back to baking and really looking forward to celebrations being able to take place.

However it's not quite as simple as just firing up the ovens because as we all know, party sizes are likely to be much smaller for the foreseeable future and smaller gatherings require less cake! So to enable my business to stay afloat at least for the short term here's what I have decided to do ...

I will be offering a selection of smaller pre-designed celebration cakes which are perfect for family and smaller party sizes. My entry level cake price has been reduced to £65 from £95 making them accessible to smaller budgets. These cakes will be basic designed drip cakes, chocolate overload cakes and simply decorated iced cakes. Perfect for smaller intimate gatherings the single tier cakes will serve between 12 ~ 18 party portions. For those that prefer larger slices or a bit more cake to share out some tiered options are available, though these are limited in design and aimed more at when larger gatherings are allowed to take place. With designs chosen to suit all ages and occasions you should be able to find the perfect cake for your celebration. These cakes will be available for a trial period to purchase from my new Facebook Shop 'Say it with Cake!'

Bespoke designed cakes with models and flowers etc will start from £100 and will be subject to supplies being available as some ingredients and materials are tricky to get hold of. Suppliers have reduced delivery slots; prices have also risen and due to not wishing to be going to the supermarket for supplies more than once a week, for obvious reasons, I will be limiting orders for this type of cake. Payments & collections will be arranged safely observing social distancing guidelines. I have tentatively opened up my diary for late 2020 weddings and 2021 / 2022 is already looking quite busy as a lots of couples have had to postpone their weddings and due to date changes some weeks are already fully booked. So with this in mind, if you are planning your wedding and looking for a beautiful wedding cake please do get in touch sooner rather than later to ensure dates are available.
