We offer a range of cake decorating classes and workshops for all abilities. From cupcake decorating classes and Basic Sugarcraft for beginners to more advanced courses for experienced cake decorators. Our 'At a Glance' page shows current and upcoming classes, allowing you to plan ahead, choose and book your class before they are advertised
Our in-person cake decorating classes are held at Dream Cakes HQ Hemsworth, Nr Pontefract. Full address details and how to find us will be given when you book.
The classes and workshops are hosted and taught by Dianne Stanley, who has over 30 years of experience designing and making wedding and celebration cakes.
Unless otherwise stated all course prices are INCLUSIVE and cover the use of all equipment, cakes, icing and ingredients needed to create and decorate your sugarcraft masterpiece to take home at the end of the class. Class sizes are kept small, to ensure you get the most out of your learning time. Questions and feedback are always welcomed.

Whilst the dates and times for the courses are correct at the time of advertising, Dream Cake Designs by Dianne Stanley reserves the right to make alterations to the dates and times of courses. In such instances, students will be notified immediately and an alternative date and/or course offered. If the alternative date/time or course is not suitable, a full refund will be offered.

Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Places are not reserved and confirmed until cleared payment of the booking fee or course fee has been received.

The full course fee is payable at the time of booking (unless stated otherwise). Instalment payments may be available for some classes – (see course schedule for information).

Students may change or cancel a booked course no later than 28 days before the start date of the class. In the case of cancellation by the student (within the timescales set for the class), the course fee paid will be refunded less an administration and rebooking charge of £25.00.

In the event of a change or cancellation made between 28 days and 14 days before the start date of the class, a refund of 25% of the course fee will be made. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the start of the course the full fee paid will be non-refundable. A student may transfer his/her place on the course to another person up to 7 days before the start of the course.

In the event of a late cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness) the workshop fee can be transferred to the same or an alternative workshop at a later date – to be taken within 12 months of the initial date.

Payments can be made in cash (or Gift Voucher), by BACS, by credit/debit card (please call 07849 329 429 with card details).
